What is the Marriage Course?
The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions that give couples practical tools to invest in their relationship and build a stronger marriage. Each session focuses on distinct aspects of marriage, including communication, conflict resolution, family life, and intimacy.
Who created the course?
Nicky and Sila Lee, authors of The Marriage Book, first developed the course at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) in London. Since then, churches worldwide have run it, and thousands of couples have benefited.
How does it help?
The course aims to support couples at every stage of their journey — whether they are newly married, raising children, or enjoying their later years together. During the seven sessions, you will:
- Build stronger foundations for your relationship
- Learn how to communicate more effectively
- Discover ways to resolve differences well
- Spend intentional time together as a couple
Unlike group discussion courses, the Marriage Course gives each couple space to talk privately. In other words, you work on your own relationship without sharing personal details with others.
Why join?
Marriage can be both rewarding and challenging. Therefore, setting aside time to focus on your relationship is invaluable. Couples who take the course often describe it as a refreshing opportunity to pause, reconnect, and invest in their future together.
