Children and Young People: A place for every age
At Cornerstone Church Bristol, we believe children and young people are a vital part of our church family. On Sunday mornings, we provide safe and engaging groups where they can learn about Jesus in ways that make sense for their age.
All our groups are run by friendly, DBS-checked volunteers who are committed to helping children grow in faith, have fun, and feel valued.
Creche (6 months – 3 years)
Our creche operates throughout the service (except on Family Service Sundays). Babies and toddlers can:
- Explore age-appropriate toys
- Listen to stories
- Play safely under caring supervision
This allows parents to enjoy the main service, knowing their little ones are being well cared for.
Children’s Church (4 – 10 years)
Children begin the morning in the main service with their parents. After the first worship songs, they head to their own group. A typical session includes:
- Bible stories are taught in fun and simple ways
- Music, games, and activities
- Crafts to help them remember the lesson
We aim to help children discover the love of Jesus while enjoying time with friends.
Youth Church (11+ years)
Our youth group meets every other Sunday for Bible study and discussion. The sessions are interactive, encouraging young people to ask questions and apply faith to their daily lives.
On alternate weeks, we invite them to remain in the main service to listen to the sermon and worship with the broader church family.
Family services
On the first Sunday of every month, we hold a family service where all ages stay together. These services are interactive, lively, and designed to engage everyone with God’s Word.
